Find and Read Project Context

Before starting work, have the Agent read the correct workspace, project, and source-of-truth document. Do not assume that a previous conversation or the tab currently open on screen is the work target.

1. Find the workspace and project

Show me the AiNecto workspaces and projects I can access.

If projects share a name or the work boundary is unclear, include the workspace.

Use [project name] in [workspace name] as the work target. Do not change anything yet.

2. Inspect the project structure

Show me the folders and documents in this project.

Do not identify a source-of-truth document by title alone. Check its folder, document type, last change, and content.

3. Read the source-of-truth document

Find and read the Project Context document. Separate the goal and scope, confirmed decisions, open questions, current result, next actions, and last review date.

If several documents serve a similar purpose, ask the Agent to show candidates.

Compare each candidate's location and latest changes. Do not change any document yet.

4. Find supporting evidence

Find the documents and files relevant to this task and explain how each one should be used as evidence.

HTML, Diagram, OpenAPI, File, ERD, and Kanban items are also part of project context. Specialized deliverables do not replace confirmed decisions in the Markdown source of truth.

5. Check comments, questions, and activity

A decision may have changed recently or still be under review.

Check the source-of-truth document's comments and open questions, then review recent activity in this project.

Use activity to locate changes. Confirm the current content in the original document and its versions.

6. Confirm what the Agent will use

List only the documents, decisions, and unanswered questions you will use as the basis for this task.

Once the context is clear, continue to Write and Update Project Memory.
