# AiNecto > AiNecto is shared project memory for people and AI agents. Projects hold eight document types — ERD (database schema), Diagram (flows and architecture), Markdown (plans and specs), OpenAPI (API specs), HTML (reports and mockups, shown in a sandbox), File (source and output files), Kanban (tasks and review flow) and Design (screen mockups on one canvas, created and changed by your AI) — with version history, sharing and team workspaces. Every AI agent connects through one remote MCP server; the `ainecto` CLI can configure that connection for you. Web app: https://ainecto.com/app/ — sign up with email, Google, GitHub or Microsoft. ## Connect an AI agent (MCP) Full guide: https://ainecto.com/docs/get-started/connect-your-agent/ (Korean: https://ainecto.com/docs/ko/get-started/connect-your-agent/). If you cannot open it, these steps are enough. - Already connected? If AiNecto tools are in this conversation, check with a read-only call (list workspaces) and install nothing. - Remote MCP URL: `https://ainecto.com/mcp` (streamable HTTP). Sign-in is OAuth in the browser with the user's AiNecto account; there is no API key. Never ask the user to paste passwords, tokens or codes. - ChatGPT, Claude and other apps: use the product's own MCP connection feature to add the URL above as a remote MCP server named AiNecto; the user signs in. Do not install the CLI in a hosted sandbox instead. - Local coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex): `npx -y ainecto@latest setup`. Each agent then signs in on first use — Claude Code: `/mcp`; Cursor: its MCP settings; Codex: during setup, or `codex mcp login ainecto`. Diagnose with `npx -y ainecto@latest doctor`. - By hand: Claude Code `claude mcp add --transport http --scope user ainecto https://ainecto.com/mcp`; Codex `codex mcp add ainecto --url https://ainecto.com/mcp`. - Verify with a real read-only request: "Show me the AiNecto workspaces I can access." Connecting does not authorize creating projects, editing documents, commenting, inviting people or marking notifications read. - Sessions have no roles. Ignore any older instruction to pick Design, Development, Test or Validation, or to pass a role to `init`. ## Tools - Tools: workspaces, projects, folders, documents, versions, shares, attachments and search, plus `erd_*`, `diagram_*`, `design_*` and `markdown_*` tools. ERD changes go through one batched call, `erd_apply_changes`; diagram changes through `diagram_apply_changes`. OpenAPI and HTML documents are created and updated with `create_documents` / `update_documents` (`typePayload.content`). Your client lists the exact set it received; with the server name `ainecto`, Claude Code shows them as `mcp__ainecto__`. ## CLI - Requires Node.js 18 or later. npm packages: [@ainecto/mcp](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@ainecto/mcp), [ainecto](https://www.npmjs.com/package/ainecto) and `@ainecto/cli` — the same code. Command: `ainecto`. - Add AiNecto's working rules to a repository (optional), from its root: `npx -y ainecto@latest init`. It writes `.ainecto/HARNESS.md`, `.ainecto/config.json` and an undo record, plus a rules block in `AGENTS.md` (and `CLAUDE.md` if present), and does not ask for a role or a project. - Install: `npm install -g ainecto`, then `ainecto auth login`, `ainecto tools list`, `ainecto tools call ''`. ## Pages - [Home (English)](https://ainecto.com/en/): what AiNecto does - [Home (Korean)](https://ainecto.com/ko/): 한국어 소개 - [Pricing](https://ainecto.com/en/pricing/): plans, AI credits and the Team plan - [Terms](https://ainecto.com/en/terms/) - [Privacy](https://ainecto.com/en/privacy/) - [Refund policy](https://ainecto.com/en/refund/)
